I’m Yazzmin McDonagh, founder of Yazzmin Lovelle Interiors. A boutique interior design studio based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. I design homes for families who want beautiful, functional spaces that actually work for the way they live.

After a decade in fashion buying, I learnt how to trust my instincts, read a room, and pull together looks that felt effortless. That same creative discipline underpins how I design homes today. Layered, comfortable spaces that feel naturally put together and never forced.

I started Yazzmin Lovelle Interiors to give busy families the design support I wish I’d had. Someone that was approachable and able to make sense of all the ideas, keep things on track, and make sure every decision added up to something cohesive.

I provide full home residential interior design for clients who want a beautiful finished home and a process they don’t have to manage themselves.

Thats means taking the lead on design decisions, thinking through how your home functions day to day, and guiding the project so it moves forward efficiently and with clarity.

My role is to reduce complexity, avoid costly mistakes and ensure the finished home feels well put together, practical and properly thought through.

Every project begins with a paid 2hr design consultation. This is where we establish your needs, explore initial ideas and ensure we are the right fit for each other before anything else moves forward. If you are considering working together this is the best place to start.

I have seen first hand that just because someone owns a home doesn’t necessarily mean they enjoy living in it and I wanted to change this. I strongly believe your home can affect your mood and quality of life, for this reason I work with my clients in a collaborative way that, aims to improve how they feel at home.

I work best with clients who value quality, trust expertise and want to work with a designer who can confidently move a project forward.

Most of my clients have demanding careers and limited time and headspace to manage design decisions alongside everything else. They want a home that functions well, feels considered and is finished to a high standard, without having to be involved in every detail.

So far, I have managed to grow my business through showcasing my work on Instagram and solely through word of mouth. Today my business continues to serve time poor professionals with a busy family life. Helping them achieve functional and beautiful homes.
